Spring 2026 marks an exciting new chapter for Surf & Sun Softball. With growing participation, fresh leadership, and a renewed focus on player experience, this season is all about building momentum—on the field and within our community. Whether you’re returning for another year or stepping onto a Surf & Sun field for the first time, this season is designed to bring competitive play, strong connections, and the kind of league culture that keeps people coming back. .
This spring, Surf & Sun continues to strengthen what makes our league special: competitive balance, inclusive divisions, and a commitment to evolving alongside our players. From spirited rivalry to sideline camaraderie, Spring 2026 reflects a league that’s active, connected, and moving forward together.
DIVISIONS & TEAMS
Surf & Sun Softball will field 20 teams this Spring across the Open and Women’s+ divisions, offering competitive play at multiple levels and welcoming a wide range of player experiences. The Open Division features 13 teams across five levels, including the launch of a brand-new Open E Division, expanding opportunities for emerging teams and players new to the league.Women’s+ C delivers confident, competitive softball with teams that know how to bring both skill and vibe. Fusion, Good Vibes, Hit N Run Ladies, and Shenanigans headline a division full of strong fundamentals, chemistry, and game-changing moments. These teams come ready to compete—and they make it fun to watch while they do it.
The Women’s+ D Division is rooted in connection, growth, and love of the game. Baby Crush, Footloose, and GOfetch bring enthusiasm, determination, and a whole lot of heart to the field each week. This division is about showing up, building confidence, and creating the kind of supportive, competitive environment that defines Surf & Sun.
The Open B and Open C Divisions bring the heat this season, led by the Chubbies at the B level and a stacked C lineup featuring All the Gueys, Dugout Daddies, Krash Out Boyz, and Replacements C. This is where sharp play meets serious personality—big bats, smart defense, loud dugouts, and rivalries that make every matchup feel like an event. If you’re looking for fast-paced games and competitive swagger, this is where it lives.
Open D is packed with teams that play with grit, heart, and something to prove. Dynasty, Havoc, Multiple Scoregasms, RedRum Seniors, and Replacements D bring a mix of experience, momentum, and hustle that makes every game unpredictable. This division thrives on growth and chemistry, where teams are leveling up together and every win feels earned..
Brand new and already buzzing, the Open E Division welcomes Luck-E Charms, Ruffnex, and Softball Cartel to the Surf & Sun lineup. This division is all about fresh starts, building confidence, and jumping headfirst into league play. Expect high energy, rapid improvement, and plenty of moments that remind everyone why expanding opportunities in the league matters.

Player rating adjustments, whether an increase or a decrease, can only be made by the Open or Women's+ Ratings Committee. To request a rating change, complete the form at the link below. The Ratings Committee will review the supplied evidence. If approved, the Division Director will make the appropriate change in the league and iPride portal or ASANA database.NOTE: THE RATINGS COMMITTEE WILL NOT REVIEW REQUESTS SUBMITTED WITHOUT APPROPRIATE EVIDENCE. APPROPRIATE EVIDENCE INCLUDES:
- HITTING QUESTIONS: Completed and legible scorebooks (must be a representative sample). You should also supply a summary via excel as a supplement to the scorebook. RUNNING QUESTIONS: Video(s) of the player running from one base to another, starting from a stopping position.
- FIELDING QUESTIONS: Completed and legible scorebooks (must be a representative sample).
- THROWING QUESTIONS: Video(s) of the player throwing, as well as completed and legible scorebooks that provide a representative sample of the number of throws the fielder has made.
